What’s new

You can now record coaching sessions live directly within Ovida — no need to record externally and upload a file afterwards.

Before starting, simply enter the participant’s email and select their team. Hit record, and Ovida captures and uploads the audio in real time. When you’re done, click Finish — Ovida will automatically process and transcribe the session, just like an uploaded recording.

What else to know

Participants are notified by email when a recording starts, with a customisable consent message you can configure in Organisation Settings.

If you accidentally close your browser mid-recording, don’t worry — Ovida will detect the interruption and send you an in-app notification and email so you can pick up where you left off. If no activity is detected for 15 minutes, the recording is automatically finalised and processed.

Admin controls

Admins can manage this feature in Organisation Settings:

  • Enable or disable live audio recording for your organisation

  • Customise the consent message sent to participants when a recording begins

Known limitations

This is the initial release of live audio recording. A few things to be aware of:

  • Currently supports one host and one guest (single participant sessions)

  • Multiple participants will be supported in a future release
