Joining a personal meeting room as an observer

How to join as an observer

Updated over 3 weeks ago

As an observer, you are there to watch and listen. You can join the session at any time once the host is present. The host can admit you to the meeting as an observer regardless of whether the guest has arrived yet.

Before entering the meeting, you’ll be asked to provide explicit consent for recording and data processing. This ensures full transparency and compliance with privacy laws, such as GDPR, regarding how your data is handled.

You can join the meeting in one of two ways:

  • Via Email: Open the invitation sent by the host and click the Join the meeting button.

  • Via Direct Link: Copy and paste the meeting link provided by the host into your web browser.

The host has the option to invite multiple observers by distributing the meeting link to all intended participants.

Before You Enter

Once the page loads, you will be prompted to identify yourself (if not already authenticated). You can also test if your camera and microphone are working correctly.

After clicking Join Now, the host will receive a notification that you are waiting. You do not need to wait for the guest to join; the host can admit you at any time to give you a pre-meeting briefing or instructions.
